The Kinect is selling twice as fast as the iPad?

That’s what ReadWriteWeb says. I’m just surprised that Microsoft has finally built a product that people are actually using.

    Edit: I’m just surprised that Microsoft has finally built acquired a product that people are actually using.

      They made a lot of modifications to it, to be fair. It’s not like they bought the tech then plugged it into a 360 without doing anything else to it.

    I hear Pepsi is outselling the iPad too… just thought I’d throw in another stupid comparison… shutup….

    • November 30, 2010 at 12:11 pm

      Well, jackass, both the iPad and the Kinect are consumer electronics devices, and both involve “new” ways to interact with a computer. So such a comparison *is* valid, even if it’s a little goddamn strained.

        Might as well compare to iPhone or iPod touch sales then, if that’s the case.

        iPad is $500 to $830,
        I bet that iPod touch from $229 to $399 outsells the MS bought KIN-ect at $150

        It was NOT a trolling attempt, it is a FACT. The apple employee when asked about it even admitted how it just didnt seem right to have a WinMo device in an apple store. It was a Symbol Pocket PC if you must know….

        Now run along and go make your bed under the bridge….

      Obviously someone is not that bright. Tsk tsk, I pity the fool. You shall now be renamed as the clueless MicroSheep. Please, stay with the so-so.

      Here’s the reason you are wrong:

      Apple has been using that for over a year now. Don’t believe it? Go to an Apple Store and ask whether it’s an iPod touch.

    @Zen Nye,

    Retard. It’s no longer 2005.

    iPhone and iPod touch is released in 2007. And Apple is using iPod touch based checkout system NOW. Fricken moron.
